About Teaching Money

Free money games, worksheets and classroom tools for children

Teaching Money is a collection of free interactive money games, printable worksheets and classroom teaching tools designed to help children build confidence with coins, notes, totals and change. The resources support primary maths learning in school and at home, with activities for UK Pounds, Euros, US Dollars, Canadian Dollars and Australian Dollars.

Our background

Teaching Money is part of Interactive Resources, created by Primary Games Ltd, a company with more than 25 years of experience in educational software.

Founded in 2000 by former teacher Mark Cogan, the company has developed award-winning resources used by schools and families around the world. Our Maths Pack Series received the BETT Award for Best Educational Primary Software and has been used in over 10,000 schools worldwide.

We combine classroom experience with digital learning design to create money resources that are practical, engaging and easy for children to use independently or with support.

What we believe

We are passionate about making maths clear, engaging and accessible for every learner. Learning about money should feel practical and meaningful, helping children connect classroom maths with everyday situations such as paying, comparing prices, counting totals and giving change.

What we aim to do

Our aim is to provide simple, high-quality money resources that support understanding, fluency and confidence through interactive practice, printable activities and teacher-friendly classroom tools.

Designed for school and home

Whether children are learning in the classroom, revising at home or exploring maths through play, Teaching Money is designed to make money practice more motivating and accessible. The games and activities focus on recognising coins and notes, adding amounts, comparing values, making totals and working out change.

We believe that regular, positive practice can make a big difference, and we are proud to offer free resources that teachers, parents and children can return to again and again.
